Drugstore Beauty Haul

I’ve never written an entry like this before, so I’m not quite sure what I’m doing here, but let’s try!

Makeup bags. They were on sale, only 1/3 of the original price, and they were pretty, so I bought both the small and the little one. I don’t expect great quality, but at least they look nice!

Spray bottle. I want to try and make my own setting spray, I’ve emptied my Urban Decay one and I’m almost out of my MAC fix+ spray, so I thought now would be a good time to try and make one myself!

Batiste Dry Shampoo. I love this stuff, and when it’s on sale I’ll always pick up a can, even if I’m not out of the one I have. I’ve tried the different scented ones and some are really nice, but my favorite is this unscented one with color so my hair doesn’t go white, I use the beautiful brunette color.

L’Oréal pure clay illuminating cleansing gel. It contains 3 pure clays and charcoal, and it cleanses, removes impurities, and gives glow! I’m excited to try this one, I love face masks and scrubs, and this one is black! There is also a red one, maybe I’ll try that one next!

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water in Oil. I’ve heard wonderful things about the original cleaning water, and both were on sale, but I  thought I’d try this one with oil, hoping it’ll moisturize my skin a little bit extra, as I get some really dry patches somewhere (and oily in others, which brings me to the next product).

Maybelline Fit Me matte+poreless foundation. I’ve heard wonderful things about this foundation, even from professional makeup artists. I was waiting for Sitting in the Clouds to write a review/comparison of the Fit Me and L’Oreal’s Infallible Matte Foundation, but I got impatient. I sampled both, but to me the L’Oreal one was runnier and I liked the feel of the Maybelline better so I decided to try this one. I might buy the L’Oreal at a later point in time though!

H&M Brow Specialist eyebrow pencil in the color Espresso Brown. I bought the Chocolate Brown one just a couple of weeks ago, but I wasn’t sure it was the right one and with just-colored eyebrows it was a bit too warm. It’s fine now though when it’s been over a week since I last colored my eyebrows. But I do color my eyebrows every couple of weeks or so, because they’re practically invisible when I don’t, and the hairs are far apart and I have bald spots, so I need to color them in as well. So now I have a pencil for every stage of the decoloration process!

Lastly, Kolokrem permanent color for eyebrows in the color “brown black”. The first time I tried the color “brown”, but with my dark hair back then I felt it was too warm, and even though my hair has a lighter color now it’s still a colder color which is why I chose to stick with this cold dark brown color for my eyebrows.

So that’s it for my first haul post! Let me know if this is something I should do more often, if you’re interested to see what I buy when I buy stuff!

Hope you’re well.
